What will talk in this blog?

Dear NOT-italian freinds;

first of all I apologize for my poor english... I hope that you can understand me...

I think that the mission of this blog are clear since the beginning..

Here I will talk about my (and our, if you will want) insane passion on this old car, such strange, unconventional and eclectic for most of people but viscerally charming for small part of people, like us, that is able to their understand ...

In Italy less than 1% of motorists drive a Volvo, much less are they that, every mornig, sit them behind an OLD Volvo steering wheel...
I deliberately used uppercase text because they are a big difference between a Volvo and an OLD Volvo;  a difference that few people, very few peolple, less than 1% of people, can understand and enjoy.

For these people, like us, that own one (or more) OLD Volvo, other cars doesnt'exist, the only true car is her Volvo.
Even if you know as well that, at the same price, you can have a much modern car, with more optionals and gadgets, less expensive in term of fuel consumption and DIY bill, the concept of replace it, you not even trought; even when repair costs were greather of this value, even when, in front of the nth korean car at discount price, other people, have succumbed at reason, and have forsaken our "old lady".

They are so our OLD Volvo... probably do you have buy it by chanche, "because you want a car for loading"... but over time you fill in love with her a bit a bit, one day you realize that, must good was passed, but in fact she is alwais there; one day you realize that you speak of her as a family member, may be you gave her a funny short name... one day uncover yourself when talking to her at a red light...

But, if you are read up to here, all these things you already know...

So, what will talk in this blog? We will talk about mechanics, car body, restoration works, big and small repair... we will talk about fantastic trips to far away places... but, above all, we will talk about our "old lady", about hers small issues and about great satisfaction that every day they give us.
